About Me
Hi, my name is Viktoria and I am an NCSF-certified personal trainer and a basketball & lacrosse coach. In the past two years, I was given the opportunity to coach both a modified girl’s basketball team and a JV girl’s lacrosse team. Through these experiences and working with young athletes, I found where I want to devote my time and who I want to inspire by doing that.
I started my college education in the exercise science field, interning at Proactive Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Aide, with an end goal of becoming a physical therapist. I thought I had my future figured out until I realized there was something else I was passionate about.
WHY COACHING?
Coaching is not something I take lightly. Looking back at my middle school and high school experiences, my coaches played a huge role in my life. They instilled confidence in me that fueled my performance and competitive streak. As a coach, it’s important to remember how impressionable your players are, and I was lucky enough to have coaches that left a meaningful impact on me.
In 2021, I was hired to be the head coach of a third and fourth-grade girls’ lacrosse team. I quickly saw the role I had in my players' lives. They looked up to me for motivation, reassurance, insight, and guidance. They valued my knowledge and what I had to offer them.
The impact I saw I had on these players completely changed my career trajectory. I decided that coaching and training young athletes was something I see myself doing for a very long time. Properly coaching young athletes can set them up for lifelong success, and I am committed to guiding my players to build healthy habits, instill self-confidence and resilience, and most importantly, show them the importance of dedication to improving and working on what they are truly passionate about.
